The hotel was overall clean with pleasant and efficient staff, it was a great base for holidays. Appreciated great views. Our accommodation was set in a remote location very close to the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and the pub.

The location was lovely with such beautiful views over the countryside. The standard of the food in the restaurant in the evening was superb - we all agreed that it was the best meal we had eaten in quite a while! The rooms were comfortable and it was so peaceful!
Something went awry with our booking over the internet and our rooms were not apparently booked despite having confirmation e-mails - luckily, on arrival, there were two rooms available so it all worked out fine.

The views were fine, especially during sunset. It's excellent that they cater to dogs with a dedicated menu.

The Pheasant is in a stunning location overlooking the beautiful Cheshire countryside and is a very beautiful and quaint Inn. We had a warm and friendly welcome. We spent a relaxing afternoon in the bar catching up on mail. There were people outside enjoying the sun and the views, just a great atmosphere. And there were pheasants in the field opposite to the hotel. Staff were there to provide what ever we wanted. Our room was good with lots of space, comfortable bed and good shower. Good breakfast. Staff very helpful.
A bit tricky to find, the sat nav helped. Our room was executive standard, but we did not have a great view from the room, bathroom had the best view!

The warm welcome from the staff. We particularly loved the hearty food at the on-site restaurant, especially the steak & ale pie, must-try! A tip , come hungry!
